Japanese trailers for TK films
The “John Carter” trailer has more detail than the US version.
The “Battleship” trailer is similar, but there’s also a great interview with Peter Berg on the site.
Thanks Nick for the submission!
From the article:
A source tells us at that the top three names being bantered about right now are Armie Hammer, Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund.
The source also says that a final decision from the studio may be announced as early as this week.
However, another source says the studio may also be looking at unknowns à la Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise.
Filming is scheduled to begin in the fall with Francis Lawrence taking over the directing reigns from Gary Ross.

Over the next several days a number of sports and Hollywood stars have offered to place calls to a handful of these deployed Sailors to wish them Happy Holidays and to say thank you for their service.
We intend to share as many of these calls with you as possible as a way of highlighting our Sailors sacrifice and as way of thanking these busy public figures for taking the time to remember our deployed Sailors and their families.
Actors Brooklyn Decker and Taylor Kitsch, from the upcoming feature film “Battleship,” made holiday calls to USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 . The actors thanked Sailors for their service and wished them Happy Holidays.
Story here.
Click the link and check it out. Kitsch is in talk for one of the 2 major characters with Aaron Johnson (KICKASS) in consideration for the other. Other rumored castmates are Salma Hayek and Olivia Wilde.
These two…in a movie together…playing BROTHERS. idgi, do they expect me to be able to watch this without spontaneously combusting from the combined levels of their hotness?
Dear LORD. SHUT UP.
We’re going to have a GOOOOOOD season 5. Great if they get Charles.
Sweet! Now everyone will jump on the bandwagon!
This is GREAT news.
[Even though I am mad at ABC Family for canceling “10 Things I Hate About You.]
Peter Berg is directing and the movie will be out before “John Carter”.
Looks like his movie cred is increasing slowly, but steadily. We love it here on FYTK!
FNL Behind the Scenes on DirectTV.
Haven’t seen it yet. :( Fuck this stupid computer.

Another one? Oh man. The promo is really starting! They just casted Steve Harris, too!
Here’s the Taylor part… Click link above to go to Lynn’s full article.
There’s no word yet how the rest of the cast will end up looking. Joining Collins in “John Carter” is her “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” co-star Taylor Kitsch as the title character, a Civil War vet inexplicably transported to the Red Planet, where he stumbles upon all manner of alien adventures.
“Taylor is so amazing,” Collins said. “We went to Pixar and saw some of the workups of some of the fighting that we have to do. I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s just no guy better for the job. He’s so athletic and wonderful and such a great actor and so positive.’”
